USE CASE #1

Keep patients safe when at risk

...............................................................................................

Hospital visits are being kept to a minimum but for those who need to attend throughout the pandemic, it’s important that occupancy levels are managed correctly. In hospital waiting rooms, receptions and other areas where groups of people gather, social distancing can be difficult to achieve.

Patients or visitors attending hospitals could use this power app to book a space in a waiting room for a defined period time, limiting their contact with other areas and time spent walking around the hospital. It also means that operational staff at the hospital can track how many people are visiting the hospital and when, enabling them to track and trace any potential outbreaks of coronavirus in the area.

USE CASE #2

Enable students to learn where they want

...............................................................................................

Many universities are reopening campuses in the new academic year and some students are jumping at the chance to return to a learning experience that in some way resembles what university life was like pre-coronavirus. We’ve seen many higher education providers taking a blended learning approach going forward and while student services and lectures will be largely done online, universities cannot ignore that some students simply don’t live in a circumstance where they can learn remotely 100% of the time.

Universities are looking at ways to reopen facilities, such as libraries, that will enable students to continue learning wherever they need to. Students can use this power app to book a session at a specified place or desk in a library or communal learning space. Once they’ve left, the space is sanitised ready for the next user. Facilities staff at the university can see who booked and a place and when, making tracing potential cases of coronavirus easy.

USE CASE #3

Bring back the office vibe

...............................................................................................

Working from home has it perks but so do lunch dates, coffee breaks and actual face-to-face meetings. Bring back the office vibe (socially distanced of course) by empowering your employees with the knowledge they are working in a safe environment.

We’re not sure about you but we’ve missed inviting our customers into the office to show them how we operate. This app allows you to have visitors in the office while keeping track of when people are in. We owe a lot to Microsoft Teams for the last 6 months but getting to know our new starters just isn’t the same through a webcam. Welcoming candidates into the office for face-to-face interviews is made possible by using the app to monitor who visits the office and when.
